Hello all! Sorry I haven't been posting. I had a family emergency and then I got sick but now I am feeling a little better and have lots to share. Over the holiday my boyfriend and I snagged some great deals which resulted in him purchasing an early Christmas gift for me, which has allowed me to be able to improve my makeup station. I live in Raleigh, NC and to my dismay it is a land void of Ikea. The nearest Ikea is about 3 hours away :( and although I've been wanting the "Alex" drawers/vanity I just haven't had the time to take that trip. So I found a dupe for the infamous "Youtube Starter Kit" pieces. Michael's craft store carries a brand of craft storage called Recollection. In their collection they have a set of drawers called the 5 Drawer Rolling Letterpress set that looks similar to the ones that you may find at Ikea. On Black Friday they were 60% OFF! So we got 2 for less than the price of 1!

Although we got the drawers for the deal, putting them together was an absolute NIGHTMARE AND one of the drawer sets that we purchased was missing pieces from the box! The store I brought it from didn't have anymore in stock so I had to drive across town to exchange it for one with all of the proper pieces. However, I am extremely happy with the end results.

This was a much needed improvement. It isn't finished yet because I am going to get a glass top cut to place on top of the drawers to replace the glass table I currently have. I am going to need more storage because this definitely does not fit all of my makeup. If you guys are interested in these they retail for $89.99 but you can usually find a 40% coupon online or in Michael's weekly ad. I use the RetailMeNot app to see what coupons I can use at my local Michaels. This was just something short and sweet for you guys. More to come soon. Thanks for reading.
