Fall Lipstick

Sweater weather is here! As the leaves begin to fall and the temperature drops autumn brings a swarm of seasonal wonders that we all enjoy. Now I'm not talking about pumpkin spiced lattes (although I am guilty of indulging) but the fall makeup trends that we all love. I don't know about you all but when autumn comes I like to trade in my lipgloss for a dark matte lipstick. Im going to share with you some of my favorite fall lip products. The great thing about this list is that the shades range from light to dark and the brands range to those that are very affordable to those that may cost a little more. So let's begin!
Now I'm going to start off with some of the more affordable items. These are actually one of my favorites: NYX soft matt lip cremes. They come in a wide variety of shades and are not too pricey. They glide on smoothly and dry to a matte finish which guarantees that it will last throughout the day. I rarely have to reapply when I wear these. The shades that I like to wear in the fall are Stockholm, Athens, Abu Dhabi, Rome, and Transylvania. Here are some swatches of them:

Price: $5.99
The next brand of lipsticks that I recommend for the fall might be some of the most affordable on the market and they can be found at your local Walgreens or other pharmacy store. The trusty Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipsticks. These are easy to find and were some of the first lipsticks I ever purchased. The finish is slightly matte and extremely pigmented. I bought my first sugar plum fairy because of BeatFaceHoney :). The ones that I have picked for fall are: Mocha-licious, Sand Storm, Ravin' Rasin, and Sugar Plum Fairy.

price: $1.99
Now if you have a little extra money to splurge then you can also find some wonderful fall colors at your local M.A.C. store. I have swatched some of the colors that I will be rocking this fall for you guys. The first is Dreaming of You. This particular lipstick is from the M.A.C. Selena Collection. M.A.C. is actually rereleasing the collection in January of 2017 but if you aren't interested in waiting that long a great dupe of this lipstick is M.A.C.'s Diva. RiRi Woo is basically the same as Ruby Woo . . . trust me. To achieve the deeper tone red of Heaux I would add a darker lipliner to Ruby Woo. The final two lipsticks, Chili and Cyber, are apart of M.A.C.'s permeant collection. I also included some snapchat photos of me wearing a few of these.

Price: $17.00
I thought I would just share with you all some of the lipsticks that I am excited to wear during my favorite season. Let me know what you will be wearing. Leave some suggestions!
Thank you so much for reading
Stay beautiful inside and out,
Maura Dixon
