Faux "Beauty Con" Box (Target Beauty Box)

Hello once again! I am back with something amazing. It is something that I can not keep to myself because it would be just too selfish of me. As the title suggests this post is about a "faux beauty con box" A.K.A. the Target Beauty Box. Now before anyone goes and gets their panties in a bunch I am in no way comparing the two. However, I believe that the Target Beauty box is a great affordable alternative if you are one that is interested in a NON- subscription based beauty box.
The Target Beauty Box is actually a great deal. It cost only $10 with FREE shipping and there is a different box every month. The great thing about it is that you do not have to commit to buying the box every month. To be honest my boyfriend, who is a loyal subscriber to freebieshark.com, came across the box on their site and ordered it for me and he just continued to do so. (Isn't he sweet?) So on random days (usually during the 1st week of the month) I get a surprise beauty box with new goodies inside. #TrueLove lol. I believe this box is a great deal because you get more than your money's worth and it comes with a $3 off coupon. ($300 off $15 or more in beauty products). This particular shampoo is for those who have fine/thin hair. The key is Filloxane which helps the hair look and feel twice as thick. I am natural and use more co-washing conditioners to cleanse my think curly hair, but this shampoo is a good addition to the beauty box.

This is a daily facial cream that uses "alpine rose stem cells", pomegranate, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera to tone and revive skin on a cellular level. I have yet to use any products from this brand but it smells amazing and it is made for those with sensitive skin. I will let you all know what I think when I give it a try.

This is a restorative deep conditioning hair mask that strengths and softens hair. It uses keratin proteins to strengthen the hair and it is made for all hair types. I love a deep conditioning mask. I deep condition about once a week (I have very curly hair that tends to be dry so it needs a lot of moisture). However, I tend to stay away from products with keratin in them because I find that it tends to weigh my hair down. Thats just an opinion based on my hair. I say this to say that I probably won't use this mask but that doesn't mean it isn't a great addition to this month's beauty box.

This is a hydrogel moisture mask meant to moisturize, sooth, and cool the skin. It is made for all skin types and is meant to be used twice a week. This is not the first time that target has included Lineage products in their beauty box. I received their moisturizer in a past beauty box and I used every last drop. So it is safe to say that I am excited to try this mask.

This is an illuminator stick that is used to create a youthful glow. The formula contains organic chamomile and green tea. The cool thing about this product is that it can serve multiple uses and the sample size that you get will last a long time because you only have to use a small amount of product.

This is a light weight primer used to enhance your mascara application. To be honest I do not believe that I would purchase this item if I were to be in the store shopping but boy am I glad that I received it in this month's beauty box. I was doing my makeup when my boyfriend came in with the box and this was the one product I opened right then and there. I tried it and it works amazingly. It made such a difference. I usually have to wear false lashes when I wear eyeliner because otherwise you wouldn't be able to tell that I had lashes. However, with this stuff I am good to go. Definitely my favorite product in this month's box AND you get a FULL SIZE container.

This is a 16 hour wear eyeliner which includes a smudger and a pull-out sharpener. It glides on smoothly and has a great color payoff. I received the color Black Brown and I am excited to use it in some of my fall looks. They also give you a FULL SIZE pencil.
The box is complete with a list of the items that come in the box with a brief description and a $3.00 coupon.
For $10 you get to try some new beauty products without committing to anything. It is an awesome deal that has delivered some wonderful surprises. In the November box I got to try products that I would have paid $95.75 otherwise to try. I have tried products that I would have not tried on my own and have loved them.
